Inspired by the Louvre and its Objets d'art collection, Harry Nuriev has been invited by the museum to imagine a collection of charms and objects in line with the Louvre Couture exhibition. His creations are combined with unusual, immersive images, fixed under a silver glaze, of his great settings.
With a sense of humor and a taste for the offbeat, an chair, a chandelier, a candlestick, a table, a teapot, a sword, a vase, a mirror..., with no relation to scale, are enchanted by a "silvering" that has become the artistic director's signature. Set in a case, like jewels, like medals, these pieces become enigmatic, provoking new combinations, accumulations and collections.
This retractable ballpoint pen features black ink. It comes with a matching metal box.
The inscription "Harry Nuriev inspired by the Louvre" is engraved on the pen and box.
