Inspired by the Louvre and its Objets d'art collection, Harry Nuriev has been invited by the museum to imagine a collection of charms and objects in line with the Louvre Couture exhibition. His creations are combined with unusual, immersive images, fixed under a silver glaze, of his great settings.
With a sense of humor and a taste for the offbeat, an chair, a chandelier, a candlestick, a table, a teapot, a sword, a vase, a mirror..., with no relation to scale, are enchanted by a "silvering" that has become the artistic director's signature. Set in a case, like jewels, like medals, these pieces become enigmatic, provoking new combinations, accumulations and collections.
This notebook features the iconic curved sofa in the Grand Salon of the Napoleon III apartments at the Louvre Museum.
Its high quality finish makes it a notebook that will carry your notes in style: the outer cover is printed with Harry Nuriev's signature "silvering" effect, the page edges are also silvered, and the inner covers are highlighted in bright red.
This 176-page notebook contains a dot grid.
