An architect of the image, Marine Wallon's landscape representations express with purity the immensity of nature in the face of human beings.
For ISOLA, Marine Wallon confides that she "questioned the abstract sign in the landscape" by exploring the possible accidents of copperplate engraving: the hollows caused by acids or the multiple effects created by the covering varnishes.
ISOLA is inspired by the colourful rhythm of Delacroix and Turner's works to mark the horizon "with a red punctum that balances the eye".
