This story takes place in Greece, 2700 years ago. It all starts on a rainy day, when the earth swells with water. Nikos the potter is happy because he will be able to fetch water to make his pottery. Under his nimble fingers, the clay balls will soon become pretty little statuettes that go "ding-dong!" when you shake them.
A tale inspired by the bell idols in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
The unpublished illustrations in this book are accompanied by a small educational booklet presenting the original works of art kept in the Louvre that are used in the story.
