This brooch is based on the goddess of Winged Victory of Samothrace's wing, the famous statue of the Louvre Museum, an unequalled masterpiece of Greek sculpture from the Hellenistic period.

This brooch is made according to the cannetille technique : a flattened metal wire turned into a helix.

A graduate of the Camondo School in Paris, Marie Christine Dorner was awarded the Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris in 1995, and in 2012 was decorated with the insignia of Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. Interior architect, designer and scenographer, she represents a multicultural "French touch", a perfectionist gesture that combines traditional know-how and high technology.
